A Kinks reunion would be music to the ears. Ray Davies, lead vocalist of the group, has been beating the reunion drums and brother Dave unfortunately has not been as accepting to the idea. Dave Davies had a stroke in 2004 and has been recovering and has recovered to where he could possibly perform.

I would love to see it. They influenced so many bands including The Jam, Blur, Oasis, The Strokes, Sloan, The Pretenders and so many more.

They are one of the big brit bands to come out of the British Invasion that could realistically still put out the original lineup which hasn't been together on stage in nearly 40 years. The original lineup included:

Ray Davies: Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar, Harmonica and Keyboards

Dave Davies: Vocals, Lead Guitar

Mick Avory: Drum/Percussion

Pete Quaife: Bass Guitar, Backing Vocals
