Clash Tribute
Tomorrow night at Mohawk Place in Buffalo a bunch of bands are getting together for a Clash Tribute show. They do this every year and I have never been to it.
Tomorrow night Im going to go because my good friend Rich is playing in it and after talking to him, all the bands put on a great show and do a great job covering all the best Clash tunes. To me the Clash really are the greatest band of all time, if not the most influential. Ill have more on Joe Strummer tomorrow. In the meantime, if you get a chance to come out to Mohawk Place and you are a fan of the Clash, do so.
the clash, the only band that mattered, i had the honor of seeing joe and the mescalaors twice in t.o. it was indeed 2 of the best shows of my life. i remember what i was doing when i heard the news john lennon died as well as when joe passed. those men where equals musically and both have influenced millions and will continue to do so forever. joe strummer 1952-2002 r.i.punk. ken
