The stats are in and the US has experienced the 8th warmest January-November on record. Globally, it was the 5th warmest such period on record. All the skeptics out there keep doubting, yet the science clearly states otherwise.

The areas that saw the warmest temperatures this year was the higher latitudes up in the Arctic exactly where the ice has been melting at record rates. This isn't a scam, humans are capable of destroying this planet and the time has come and gone to get ourselves righted as a civilization.

There are examples throughout recorded history where humans have caused widespread destruction to our environment. We almost killed off a national symbol in the Bald Eagle by using DDT and other poisonous pesticides. Extinctions are up all over the planet and many of those extinctions are caused by humans.

We act before we think. Look at the invasive species that have taken over our Great Lakes like Zebra Mussels and Flying Carp in the Mississippi River that are on their way into the Great Lakes. Those are just two examples, there are hundreds of others.

All the toxic landfills that make it unsafe for us to live there and if we can't live there whos to say that animals are going to thrive in those environments? Love Canal is an example of a local area that we destroyed. We dump and pollute without thinking of the consequences.

My point is that the skeptics say we can't cause our climate to change this earth is too big...Its not. We have changed it, we have changed numerous things on this planet, some good, some not so good. The fact is there are 6+ billion humans on this earth, Id say we have the potential to do great damage to a lot of things by how we use our resources. Global warming is a big consequence whether we can see it or not.
