Monday nights game against the Bruins was just a little hiccup. The Sabres should have won that game with 45 shots on goal you should score at least 4. But with any team that struggles the Sabres failed to capitalize on key chances against the Bruins.

That was the biggest difference between the Bruins game and last night. Last night, those chances went in. In another 41 shot performance, the Sabres simply buried their chances. Ryan Miller also showed up. Which realistically has been their biggest downfall this year. Nevermind Thomas Vanek and Max, if Miller plays well he steals games. Period. End of story.

Another bone I have to pick with this league on top of the pity point is this thing that you can not score if you kick the puck into the net. Lets be realistic, if you are good enough to kick the puck into the net, the goal should count. You really want to increase scoring, allow those goals like the one Drew Stafford should have had last night.
