Ryan Miller was locked in tonight for Buffalo and they needed him to be. Every shot was saved by a goalie who for the last two months has been the best player on the ice for this team.

Forget about the rest of this team, the recent surge by Buffalo is because Miller has been red hot. When was the last time he gave up more than 3 goals in a game? He has been tough to beat.

Toronto played tough, Buffalo played tougher  Plain and simple. Paul Gaustad seems to be at his best when these two teams meet as he had another game winner against Toronto for the second time this year.

With this win, Buffalo not only pulls up into 7th ahead of the Rangers but believe it or not, 8 points behind Ottawa with a game in hand. Who would have thunk?
