Miracle on Ice concluded with the gold medal game. The USA Olympic hockey team did what no one would have thought possible. With a collection of college players the US defeated the Soviets, one of the if not the most dominating hockey team in the history of the sport to go on and win Olympic gold.

I can't believe its been 28 years. I was only 7 at the time but I remember the feeling on that day and I do remember that game being on in our home. Its unfortunate in a way that they use professionals in the Olympics. It takes some of the mystique out of it.
