This my top three for best current Sabres players:

1. Derek Roy

2. Ryan Miller

3. Thomas Vanek

Derek Roy has come a long way since being a third line center behind Drury and Briere. He has a cockiness about him that I really like. He has toned it down with the yelling at the referee's and during this teams 10-15 game slide earlier in the season, Roy was out of the lineup frequently. It was when he came back that they started winning.
