With all due respect to Toronto Mike and his like to Hootie and the Blowfish, I am officially declaring today Ban Hootie and the Blowfish Day because they took a great song in this:
And turned it into a piece of junk in this:
Ever since the disgusting cover of a 5440 staple, I have lost all respect for Hootie. What kills me is there is a whole generation of fans in the states that loves the Hootie version for the only fact that they have not heard the 5440 original which is much more melodic and vocally pleasing to the ear.

Mike, there was some heart felt sentiment in there, i was feeling the love for Hootie there lol.
