One Week

It has been one week since I have had anything with meat in it. That includes beef, chicken, pork and anyother meat related food. Dairy I have continued to consume because it doesn't kill the cow and Im only consuming organic, grass fed milk.

I think I can make it. I feel better, I lost 3 pounds and my energy level is up. Its only been a week but Im not missing beef. There are alternatives for everything meat from tofu to veggie burgers to smart dogs.

Thats not to say I won't ever eat meat again, I will, only free range beef if I do....but Im willing for now to just take a break. The images from a week ago were enough to do that. Just wanted to update that I am sticking to my guns. On Friday we went out to eat with the inlaws and I stayed away from meat, I had eggplant parm and a salad. That was probably my first real test of the week.
