This Saturday I am going to try as I might to get my hands on tickets to the Police and Elvis Costello at HSBC Arena. When was the last time a double header like that came to Buffalo? Yes they are older musicians but who cares. They still sound great and whether you are there to see Elvis Costello or Sting and the Police you are going to get the ultimate musical experience from legends.

So Saturday Im going to shoot for one ticket, the top price is $200....its steep and if my wife or anyone else wants to go with me they are going to have to drop off the money up front because $200 is a lot to drop on a ticket for someone who either A) doesn't truly love both bands or B) doesn't have the $ up front.

So, Im making plans to go but it will be me myself and I unless someone has their $200 or my wife wants to go dutch and has her $ in hand and is willing to get to know both acts so she will enjoy herself other wise its a Me night.

Is that being selfish? I figure if Im going to go and see the Police, one of my favorite bands of all time for the first time and probably only time, Im going to go and sit as close as I can get. In honor of that here is the Police performing Message in a Bottle for the first time ever:
