Space Shuttle
The Challenger incident took place 22 years ago, January 28th, 1986. It seems like ever since, we pay less and less attention to the Space Shuttle missions until now, they are just a blip somewhere in the front page or on the science page of the news.
It barely gets a mention on CNN/Headline News or any other mainstream media. Why is that? Why don't we pay more attention to our space flights? To me the work they are doing up there, could very well be our future. Discovering ways to go further into space and discovering more and more about survival off this rock we call Earth.
I remember when I was in school we would watch every Space Shuttle mission take off until this tragedy:
This is the most recent lift off of the Space Shuttle Atlantis, its simply amazing watching it but its on NASA TV, not exactly big media, this should be big news and more should be reported to make everyone aware what they are working on up there, this mission, is delivering a 23'X15' laboratory called Columbus that will allow them to start allowing international partners to begin research in the space station, it will begin a phase where there will be a permanent presence in space, how is that not exciting?:

Who in hades thought developing a mosque at ground zero would be useful? I'm not a great fan of both Glen Beck or Sarah Palin yet in contrast with Obama and the ridiculous government, this pair are prodigies, come on North america, there's a certain amount of odd stuff happening here. Cheryl.
