The NHL Network

I just got home today and I have been watching the NHL Network more and more lately and I have to say, everything that the NFL Network screws up, the NHL Network does perfectly.

Hockey is a fast game with lots of highlights so the NHL on the Fly is a perfect way to showcase nightly games and give highlights without showing the full game. I can turn it on at midway through the nights games and catch highlights from all of them within an hour or so.

My favorite feature is the Vintage games. Im watching a game from the Vancouver/Philadelphia 1979 playoff series. Not the two best teams but when Bobby Clark is out there playing its worth watching. Not to mention Bob Cole is doing play by play from CBC.

They also have lots of behind the scenes stuff and player features that help to highlight the talent of the league.

It is one of my top three favorite stations to watch now. The announcers on The Fly are solid too. Unlike the announcers the NFL Network gives you. If you like getting a taste of all the games without having to watch them all in full, the NHL Network is the station for you.
