Brock Lesnar takes on Frank Mir tonight. At first glance, Lesnar is a giant and Mir is the experience UFC fighter. One would be tempted to dismiss Mir for Brocks size and strength. However, this could be more interesting than you think.

Im into this one for the fact that Brock is a former WWE wrestler and a friggin giant. If this were a test of strenght, Brock destroys Mir no questions asked. However, the more I watch UFC fights the more it becomes obvious that its endurance, holds, and fighting skills that go far beyond brute strenght. Mir is probably the better grappler despite Brock's wrestling background. 

Mir also is a better martial artist something that my supervisor at work made apparent to me that unless Brock develops the martial arts and grappling skills, his strength may be useless. I can see Mir being very "slippery in the ring for Lesnar and being a little quicker with the martial arts may prove the difference.

If Lesnar can get Mir onto the mat into a bear hug or scissors or some sort of strength hold or something that involves his brute strength he could make things very interesting.
