The Grammys. Im not even putting a graphic up here because I don't even want to support it. Its a show that doesn't represents the artist as much as it does the money that an artist makes for the industry.

It is supposed to acknowledge best album and recordings that are representative of what is best in the industry and it fails on every level. Amy Winehouse will be called but not deserved tonight. Radiohead bucked the system the release of their CD through their website where people could pay what they felt was fair for the CD and then download it. They totally bypassed the recording industry.

They should still be acknowledged as one of the best records of the past year but it won't be. Arcade Fire should be amongst the best, but they are no where in the mix. So Im boycotting this event like I do every year in recent years and I will continue to do so because I don't think music awards shows are all that fair anyway

Music is subjective, what one person loves another hates, there is usually no middle ground. No two people will every agree on every bit of music they listen to. What matters is the individual and what they feel is the best, so Music award shows are a waste to me. They acknowledge the artist but you could do that by having a three or four hour concert instead and cut through all the crap and speeches.
