Almost Forgot The Best Part
This is the jersey I know and love. Bring these back full time!!!!!!!!!!!! The Jays sported the original 1977 jerseys last night and they looked awesome, so please JP, don't change them back!!!!!.
It's not JP's call... I don't think GMs have anything to do with team uniforms.
It's about selling jerseys, and the Jays now have the best of both worlds. They sell these retro jerseys to guys like you and me who miss the old logo and they sell the new jerseys to the kids who were in diapers the last time we won it all.
As you know, I've wanted the old uniforms back for some time now, and last night reminded me why.
Yeah It was one of the highlights, those uniforms were my favorite. I like their current ones too but like you, I like the maple leaf in the logo, it set them apart from the other teams because they were able to include piece of the Country they play in that logo.
