The Specials are this weeks retro choice. The old school ska band from the 70's/80's has influenced everyone from Elvis Costello to Blur and the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. They were one of the true innovators of the modern day ska sound that is very catchy and very danceable.

The band formed in 1977 and on April 7th, 2008, the band officially reformed.
