If you have been a regular reader of my blog but never checked out any of the other sites on my sidebar, check out Mike Boon and go to a link of his that he designed and runs called Smells Like Sour.

It is a series of hypothetical series of compilation discs of new rock songs. I don't comment too much on Mike's site about the songs but let me tell you, if you are like me, and don't have a ton of time to listen to the radio 24/7 it gives you a taste of the new rock that is out there.

I only hope that some music exec is out there checking on the SLS site and thinking about using the series to develop it for real. I'd buy the whole friggin series if they were available either download on Itunes or otherwise.

Thats just an example and Mike posts the video of each song as he places them up for consideration and they are nominated on the SLS site. Check them out, they keep me up to date on the current stuff and if you are half the music fan I am, what Mike has done, is a great resource.
