I don't know about anyone else who picked up the Buffalo News today but I found the picture on the front page of the gunman pretty tasteless.

Did we have to see the guy with a gun to his head? I think the point was made through 3-4 hour news coverage that the guy was suicidal but we didn't need this disturbing image to prove it.

I understand that the media needs to cover their stories in depth provide coverage as close to the scene as possible but they could have picked a different photo to put on the front page than the guy pointing a gun getting ready to blow his brain through the right side of his skull.

It took me a couple of looks to notice him in the picture but once I did, it really kind of disturbed me and not much does that to me.

Anyone else find that a little much to put on the front page?
