Fred Patterson has always made a good point about going to the movies. They should list the time the previews start and the time the movie actually starts.

There is so much advertising now on the screen before the actual previews start you have no idea where the previews even begin. With all that advertising why do movies need to be that expensive?

They have to be taking in a decent buck on companies advertising on those screens that could be put to decreasing the cost to the general public.

Thats all beside the original point. List the actual starting time so that I can walk into the theatre and not have to sit through 20-30 minutes of previews and get right to the actual movie.The start time for last night was 7:15, it didn't actually start into the first scene until a little after 7:40. 

Some people eat up the previews and thats fine, they can show up for the previews and myself and others can go by the actual movie start time.
