This video of Kevin James getting his ass slammed on Hardball was comical. It shows how empty the Republican's arguments against Obama and his wanting to meet with Iran/Syria and other "terrorist" countries. Let me state now that he has NEVER talked about sitting with Hamas or Al Qaida. He wants to meet with countries!

The insinuation that he would have negotiated with Hitler or anything like that is obscene. The Republicans saying that talking with these countries and pursuing diplomacy is a bad idea is absolutely absurd.

Regan negotiated with the former Soviet Union and talked with them during the end of the cold war and what happened there? Success! Carter negotiated with Iran to get all the hostages released during that crisis and there are countless other examples of how diplomacy and talking to countries that we do not see eye to eye with has worked.

In addition if you want to see John McCain's true colors here is a list of lobbyists that are traveling with John McCain who are currently in trouble for foreign lobbying. What does McCain have to say about these people? He thinks they are honorable people...lets look at a few off this list shall we?

Charlie Black: He just happens to be McCain's Chief Political Advisor, he is a part of a firm that has been hired by a Philippine client close to President Ferdinand Marcos to "improve his image"

Black's firm has also lobbied for Somalia's dictator who while representing them, Siad Barre's army killed 40-50,000 civilians.

Frank Donatelli: He has been working to improve Ethiopia's relationship with the US. Ethiopia's human rights record is horrible, yet here is another example of how McCain's people are reaching out to dictators and other questionable countries.

The full list is in the article and after reading it, the next time you hear McCain criticize Obama for wanting to promote diplomacy with Iran and Syria, realize just how full of shit he really is.
