Roger Clemen's apology today is too little, too late. He should have done this back when the whole thing started caving in around him. He has now apologized for his extra-marital affairs after coming forth with a defamation suit which holds no water at this point.

He says his romance with McCready was not when she was 15 but at this point whos to say? Hes been denying, denying and now apologizing? Apologize all you want now Roger but no one is listening. A few months ago maybe you had a shot at a caring ear, but now all you have said and all you have defended is in doubt.

This includes the steriod thing which now republican or not, they need to grill him at the next hearing. The republicans were so awe struck by his presence at the last hearings that they made it easy on him to answer their questions. Well now the man needs to get the full brunt of both parties and as usual the democrats asked the tough questions and probably will again.

If the tax payers are paying to get the truth then at the next hearing they better drag this guy through the mud to get what we need to get and the send him packing, preferably behind bars for being a complete and utter jack ass, not just through these procedings but for his whole career. His career has been one big joke.

He has been living a lie with his family, the fans and baseball and now he more than certainly lied to congress about having taken steroids. That my friends is perjury and now that we know the real man, let the hammer come down on the should have been hall of famer who now never will be. In this case, apologies don't cut it.
