Closet Fan
From time to time Ill post on a band or anything that I would consider myself a closet fan of. I don't know if Huey Lewis and the News counts because I think they have some really good tunes. Their greatest hits collection just flat out rocks.
I saw them a few years back play at what was then Pilot Field in Buffalo after a Bisons Game and Id like to see them again. They are playing Seneca Allegany Casino this month, though Im going to miss them again.
How can you not like a band that sings about a new drug, a couple days off and the power of love? This is one of my favorite Huey tunes, Couple Days Off: (Notice in the video, he is filling his car up for .91 a gallon, those were the days)
