Gore's Environmental Agenda Not Political
Al Gore does not have a politcal bone in his body when it comes to the environmental issues he so dearly supports. This article basically sums up where Al Gore is headed and despite last week's endorsement of Barack Obama, its not back into politics. He was just showing his support for the candidate he feels will be best for the environmental causes he supports.
His roots are as an environmentalist even if he started as a politician. His plans are to stay out of Washington, except to provide his voice on environmental issues. You can look at his track record dating all the way back to his days in congress and he has always been pro-environment. He has written more books than just An Inconvenient Truth. He wrote Earth in the Balance in 1990 that is a very solid and informative read for those who do have an environmental bone in their body.
I wanted Gore to run because I thought that he could make a huge difference in a time when we need someone to lead, but I respect his choice to stay on the outside looking in. He'll provide his expertise when needed Im sure, but he will pick his spots. His number one passion is now and really always has been the environment and "green" causes. No matter how you view him, you have to respect him for avoiding the spotlight.
He could have easily made it very interesting and jumped on board with Obama back when the primary was still a dead heat, but he stayed out. He wants people to recognize that hes not doing what he is doing for politcal reasons but for the right reasons. Hes doing it for that blue ball we call home.

More dust in the wind. The guy is a wind bag. He dosn't give a shit about the environment. He only cares about his own agenda and that's lining his pockets at the tax payers expense, more govt, and keeping the fools in this country thinking the end is coming and it's all their fault. He did however invent the internet. What a fucking geinus. Doomsday is coming.
If a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it does it make a sound?
Did you see this shit head on tv today? He talks out of every orafice on his body. He stands for nothing! Nothing I say!! He loves to here himself talk. He is a wacko. Good thing he was never elected. We would all be wearing turbins.
He is a typilcal Dem. Did you see the report released by the Tenn energy dept? He was exposed last year for his wasteful energy use habits in his mansion. Following that he made "green" changes to his home. Tenn energy depart released its report today, guess what, enviro wacko Gore's (I say this because he really dosn't give a shit about the environment) energy consumption increased by 10% with his changes. The amount of energy he uses a day in his home is equivalent to what approx 210 "polluters" (thats you and me according to him) use in our homes. 210:1 ratio. He is a scam, a talking head.
Most of the crap you just quoted is simply that, crap. Does he have a bigger house than most of us, yes he does and if I had his money, I would too, but I can assure you that his house is "greenified". His energy use may have increased but where does the energy his home uses come from? It comes from solar, wind and green energy, we all have that option in our electric bill and I know for a fact that Mr. Gore has solar panels built onto his home. So it doesn;t matter how much energy he uses, its where the energy comes from. Last time I checked, Solar is green and renewable, wind is green and renewable. So, I say, he can use as much as needed to beat the environmental concepts he has to present to all the ignorant out there into the collective skulls.
Irrelavant jargon above. His "green" renewable energy is not include in the report from the Tenn. Power authority only his KwH purchased from them. Last I checked I think Tenn still burns coal. As for the size of his dwelling. I think it proves some of the eairlier and other points made. He is all about himself. He uses the environmental issues to meet his greedy objectives.
Actually, I believe no matter where you live, you can choose to have your electricity come from green sources, it costs a little more to your bill but you can check that option.
