How Can You Not Agree With This
Barack Obama came out tough on child rape saying that the penalty of capital punishment should be considerer in the most narrow of circumstances when it comes to child rape.
Freddie P has been all over this since his days on CFNY and MOJO. Its absolutely true that there should be higher punishments in these cases because most of the time, these sickos get off with a penalty that does not match the crime. What is even nicer to see is that a politician, one running for the highest office in the land, has finally come out and said as much. Any rapist should be at the very least thrown in jail for life but when it comes to child molestation/rape, they should get the kitchen sink thrown at them. Look at how our judicial system works and you can understand, most cases that deserve a heavy punishment don't get whats coming to them, the ones that don't get more than they deserve half the time. The death penalty is appropriate for murder, it should also be appropriate for rape, especially child cases.
A real stance would be to propose the same thing for abortion. It is murder.
Thats right Beth so when you get raped and that baby from that rapist is growing inside you remember you said that before you go to get it aborted.Women should have the right to choose. Its their bodies.

The definition of a child is anyone under the age of 18. We all know what rape is and murder is. His comments about "in the most narrow of curcumstances" show he is not committed to it. He gave himself an out in the true lib fashion. Here is is "flip-flop op" as we like to call them that was handed to him in the staged interview. He can now say he supported it and on the flop can say I only supported it in the narrow curcumsatnce. In the mind of a lib they are covered either way. He also is well versed on the question since one of his compadres in the past looked like a complete ass when asked the same question. So I disagree with him. You either raped a child, a person under 18, or you did not. There is no "in the most narrow of curcumstances". If you raped someone under the age of 18 capital punishment is an option. I give him credit for trying but his comments in no way are related or reflective on the actual matter the courts had to decide on. Unfortunately though most Americans, like yourself, are amazed by news stories and don't dive deep into the true issues. Most will take the news snipit and think it is the best thing since sliced bread. It would have been interesting to post on his opinion before the descision and then after.
Well the rapist can choose what he wants to do with his body as well. And if he chooses to rape mine he committed a crime and should be punished. If I become pregnant I can choose to do what I want with my body, but if it involves killing another human then I too should be punished.
