Wake Up!

Alright, time to wake up from this four game nightmare....TOMORROW.

I got in last night just in time to see the leagues 2nd best bullpen blow a 4-0 lead by giving up 3 home runs. Two of those from now departed Armando Benitez. Bye.

Today the Jays made some rather interesting moves, taking Vernon Wells off the disabled list from his broken wrist, predictable that as soon as their good fortunes turn to dust that they hurried him back into action. Aaron Hill who has been out since May 30th went on the DL.

I hope they are not rushing Vernon back, we saw this last year with Lyle Overbay and his bad wrist/hand. He hit like shit all year because of the pain in his hand. Wrists are not easy to heal so I hope Vernon is 100%. While they are starting to miss him, it would really suck if he has come back too early and he ends up missing more time because of it.

So today was another loss 9-5. Will the real AJ Burnett please stand up? He has a great start then a junk start. He also made a sarcastic tip of the hat to the fans which Im sure that will go over well with the Blue Jay faithful.

As far as I'm concerned, if there is a taker for AJ at the trade deadline who is willing to overpay for an injury prone, .500 pitcher, make the move, maybe Gustavo Chacin will be ready for some action by then.

Since you started the Doc watch they have not been playing well. I think you jinxed them. Keep it up. It makes the road to first easier for the Yanks.

The only road the Yanks are on the road to is dead last, I give them a month before Jeter, Posada and Mussina are all on the DL.
