A Little Advice We Could All Use
Britain is not a starving country by any means, however, their government is requesting that their people use a little more frugality when it comes to food waste.
They are encouraging their people to use leftovers and store their food better to avoid waste and buy only what is needed (planning better for meals).
We here in the US could probably take that advice as well in all areas of our life. Think about it, how much do we waste on a daily basis? Do you finish what you put on your plate? Do you buy things you don't necessarily need? What about the car you drive? The electricity you use?
I would bet we could take that advice in all areas of our lives. I remember my mother used to get on my case for leaving lights on or leaving the door open with the heat on. Now, in this age of rising prices, I now know why she was pissed about that stuff. Things were no where near as expensive as they are now, but she had a point.
Every thing we do uses energy or some other precious resource. Food, though it is renewable, can only be produced in so large a quantity to feed so many mouths around the globe. Then you have a tomato scare, a jalepeno scare, corn used for ethanol and all of a sudden, food prices are going up and food shortages are popping up all over the globe.
The fact that Britain is implementing this should send a warning flag that it could happen here too. Britain is not Africa, India, or any other developing third world country. They are relatively well to do. We should and need to conserve on all fronts in order to better manage resoruces that we take for granted.

do these thoughts run through your head bb? holly crap..you should eat less so th rest of the staving pop has more..practice what u preach
