As these Olympics begin tomorrow, China presses on by putting bans on various protests and what the media can and cannot report on.

Here's an idea, as these Olympics progress, celebrate what the athletes do regardless of their country but especially ours, but lets ban China.

Check labels on everything you buy if it says made in China, put it back. Don't buy it. Until China gets its ducks in a row on human rights and stops supporting the tragedy in Darfur then we need to boycott everything made in that country.

I still believe that the best thing they could do would be to pull the press out of China altogether and leave these Olympics go uncovered by foriegn media, but that won't happen. Instead, don't buy Chinese products and send an economic message.

The final thing that I will say is this, the IOC needs to seriously take a look at their selection process. How did they come to the conclusion that this, Bejing, this choked up, polluted, dump was worthy of an Olympic games? The IOC skips over Toronto, one of the cleanest and beautiful cities in the world for Bejing? I find that awful. I wonder how much Bejing paid off the IOC?
