Here is an idea, if China insists on putting limits on what reporters from other countries can report on and journalists are going to get beat by Chinese police over what they cover, then maybe the UN or some international body should step in and pull every last member of the press out of the China.

Maybe, the press/media should show for once that they have some morals and collectively do it themselves. The modern day press has this "anything for a story" attitude about them but is it really like that when two of their own gets beaten by police? Two Japanese journalists were beaten while trying to cover the Muslim attacks.

How would China like it if they proceeded to host the games with no television coverage, no newspaper coverage and the media world by in large ignored the event. Granted, that would do the athletes who have prepared a huge injustice, but at least they still get to compete.

I love the Olympics, it is bigger than the Super Bowl, the ultimate sporting event. But this time, the IOC picked the wrong city/country to host these games. China is proving every day why they have no right hosting these games because they are really miles behind the rest of the world in human rights and foreign relations.

Something tells me that while the sports should be the headline, they will not be at these games. Something also tells me that things are going to be very nasty throughout these games, its just a matter of what it is that happens to turn them that way.
