Here's The Deal With ACORN
There is no voter fraud going on with ACORN. All ACORN does is register low income voters who just happen to be democratic leaning voters. The fact is, ACORN checks every single registration they take in and if they get ones that appear bad or that they can not verify, they flag it.
By law they are required to hand in all registrations to election officials and this includes the bad ones. The fraud that you hear about is ACORN announcing that fraud to officials. They are reporting those illegalities so that THEY are covered. They are constantly monitoring themselves!!!! If there is any fraud in this its voter registration fraud which has to this date resulted in ZERO fraudulant votes.
The reports of The Dallas Cowboys signing up to vote in Ohio or where ever they signed up, its true. We know this though because ACORN reported it to the officials to document!!!!!
So this whole thought that ACORN is stealing the election and has any connection what so ever to Obama is just smoke and mirrors and misguidance by the McCain campaign. They are full of shit.
You can see the charges here, they are a matter of improper employee supervision that allowed 6 people to go out and fraudulently sign up voters. McCain will have you think Obama is orchestrating the whole thing and its simply untrue. There was no scam involving Barack Obama and his name was not even mentioned. Obama's involvement with ACORN was 13 years ago as an ATTORNEY! The employees of ACORN get paid according to the number of people they register. I know you were just going to say this, but Obama denied anything to do with ACORN, and McCain said, "Wait, you gave a branch of ACORN $832,000 get-out-the-vote efforts in the primaries, it was in Ohio and Pennsylvania and a couple other places," and Obama, that's one of the times he shook his head. But they did do it. Who cares whether it was the primaries? The primaries were just six months ago.

I mean every time he was asked, I mean when they asked about Ayers and ACORN is the only time that he really looked like he was looking at his hand or reading off of them. And sadly, Senator McCain, I mean, he hit him hard on Ayers, but it would have been nice if he would explain who Ayers was and if he would have explained what Ayers is doing now. McCain said, "You weren't eight years old on 9/11 when he wrote a piece in the New York Times saying he wished he had done more."

I don't know about Obama cheating with ACORN during the primaries, but I can tell you right now this ACORN bunch has been around 30 years and they're doing far more than just fraudulently registering voters. They are at the root of the home mortgage collapse. They are at the root of what's wrong with education in the inner cities, the inner-city schools. There's no question, they're being investigated in 14 states, 200,000 unconfirmable, unverifiable registrations in Ohio. Hello, ACORN. FBI, as I say, is looking into them. I was going to vote for Obama. Was all into his message and ideals. So into him I picked up some of his books on tape. I was appaled. This man is a racist and will ruin this country. Further divide it. Read some of the crap in his books.

The dog and pony show is nearing it's conclusion with this one. Funny thing is the only "black" thing about him is his skin.
Vote for this man please I beg you. His ploicies will take from those who have and give to those who don't but I think that may prove to be a good thing. Things need to change in this country we all know that. What better way to get that change...on the surface. Let those with their hands out in front get what they want for a while. Let them think it will get them ahead and give them an advantage. It won't history has proven that time and time again. He will further create a society of have and have nots. Those who have will always have. Those who dont...dont know any better and will be so overwhelmed with thinking they hit the jackpot they wont realize they are no better off. The unfortunate part is when his socialist ideals are put into place those who are able to do good by having expendable income and provide much needed funds to charities (the govt was not one last I checked) will be unable to do so. Its a sad reality that we have been through before.

Again, McCain is full of shit. They exist for the sole purpose of going out and registering voters. Many of those voters of in poorer neighborhoods. The more their employees register the more they get paid. So, as you can imagine there may be the willingness by some on the rare occasion to sign up "Mickey Mouse" because it is easier than going door to door.
They then sign up the "Mickey Mouses" of the world, bring them back to ACORN who then BY LAW has to turn every registration over to the board of elections. Before they do that however, they put them into piles, GOOD, QUESTIONABLE and BAD. They call each and every single one to follow up on them, to make sure they get the person, check the address and the persons background info, if something doesn't match they flag it and they all go to elections who then reports on it and they ALL go to the voting site including the flagged ones, that way if the "dead guy" or "mickey mouse" does show up to vote, they nab them at the site.
There has been plenty of voter registration fraud, however, there has never been one fraudulent vote cast at the booth. EVER.

Yeah and what about all the dis-enfranchised votes from 2000 that lost Gore the election? Who cheated that year in Florida? Gee, Jeb Bush's state too. Gore was totally cheated out as the Republican run Florida elections board purged the ballot box. Not to mention they used 67 different types of ballots. Has that ever been reformed? I thought after that mess W. promised voting reform and creating a universal ballot.....guess it didn't matter once Al conceded.
None of those registered mickey mouse votes will be counted believe me. ACORN HAS TO REPORT THEM, I REPEAT HAS TO!! You don't believe me go to the ACORN site.

WITH ACORN facing vote-fraud investigations in at least 13 states, it is no surprise that Barack Obama wants to distance himself from this band of scandal-plagued community organizers. Yet the degree to which Obama's campaign has concealed his links to ACORN raises troubling questions about Obama's candor and forthrightness.
The Obama campaign's FightTheSmears.com Web site tries to "stay up to date on right-wing smears." It now asserts "ACORN never hired Obama as a trainer, organizer or any type of employee." But, as ABC News' Jake Tapper noticed, this updates an earlier claim that proved untrue: "Barack was never an ACORN trainer and never worked for ACORN in any other capacity."
In fact, the site acknowledges that Obama sued the state of Illinois on ACORN's behalf, winning a 1995 case about compliance with the federal "Motor Voter" registration law.
But the online archive is eerily silent about how Obama otherwise has been in cahoots with the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now.
The Cleveland Leader first reported that top ACORN activist Toni Foulkes detailed some of this collaboration in the Winter 2003-Spring 2004 issue of the journal Social Policy.
As Foulkes wrote, "We have invited Obama to our leadership training sessions to run the session on power every year, and, as a result, many of our newly developing leaders got to know him before he ever ran for office. Thus, it was natural for many of us to be active volunteers in his first campaign for state Senate and then his failed bid for US Congress." Foulkes added: "By the time he ran for US Senate, we were old friends."
Obama's site also claims that "ACORN was not part of Project Vote, the successful voter registration drive Barack ran in 1992." Yet Foulkes' article seems to indicate that ACORN cooperated with Project Vote. As she explained: "Project Vote delivered 50,000 newly registered voters in that campaign (ACORN delivered about 5,000 of them)."
Writing in February on the campaign's site, Obama supporter Sam Graham-Felsen cited the Democratic nominee's remarks to an ACORN gathering last November: "When I ran Project Vote voter registration drives in Illinois," Obama said, "ACORN was smack dab in the middle of it, and we appreciate your work."
Obama's site conveniently omits his other ties to ACORN:
* While Obama served on the board of directors of Chicago's Woods Fund, Chicago ACORN got $190,000 in Woods' money.
* In his address to ACORN last November, Obama said: "I've been fighting alongside ACORN on issues you care about my entire career."
* The Obama campaign paid $832,598 last February to Citizens Services, Inc. - an ACORN affiliate. The campaign originally described this to the Federal Election Commission as "staging, sound, lighting." In August, it amended that filing to show that the cash went for get-out-the-vote services. ACORN spokesmen have admitted that roughly $80,000 of the payment to CSI flowed into ACORN's coffers.
* ACORN Votes - ACORN's PAC - endorsed Obama for president in February. As Arizona's Alicia Russell, the PAC's western representative, said at the time: "He's on the same level we are, and sees our issues as we do."
While shocking revelations about this group pile up, as if they had fallen from trees, Barack Obama understandably will treat ACORN like something only a squirrel could love. But don't be fooled. They're old friend
