A Blue Night For America And Buffalo
Tonight was a night of firsts and a blue night at that. Barack Obama has reached the highest position in this country and showed that this country wanted change. We wanted more than just another republican in office. We wanted someone who would identify with the middle class.
I still need some time to really let this sink in, its been 8 years of being against something and now, after tonight, Im for something. I've spent the last 8 years ridiculing George W. Bush and will spend the next 8 years showing my support more often than ridicule.
No president has ever been perfect, and Barack Obama will be far from it, but I think that he is the right man at the right time for this job. If you were against him, give him time, give him a chance.
I was thinking the last few days, after this election, now what? Well now comes the fun part, who will he have in his cabinet, how will his policies take shape over the next months and years.
On a side note, The UB Bulls defeated Miami of Ohio tonight, making it a blue night in Buffalo in more ways than one, the win keeps UB's bowl hopes alive.
Hey there Mike.. finally things are changing for the better. As a Canadian, I have been for Obama from the beginning and am so glad things can only get better for you all down there.
I only wish we had someone as great as Barrack up here, our election last month was a joke..no one good for the job.Heres hoping we will change in the near future because our conservatives now are way to alike your republicans, not good in my books.
This is simply great news and last night was a big inspiration for us all.. good luck and Buh bye Bush!
