Hip For The Hell Of It
Its been a while since I did some good Tragically HIp stuff, here is a tune off 2004's In Between Evolution, its called "It Can't Be Nashville Every Night". This whole disc features Gord at his best vocally.
I was thinking today that its been a while, (March of 2007) since I last saw them live. Almost two years, I don't know if I have ever gone that long before, they need to do a Buffalo show at HSBC again.

The Hip support hockey. I hate them. They (Hockey) kill alot of trees to make the sticks. And they pump toxins into our environment to make those pucks, boards, ice, arenas, parking lots, tickets, jerseys, skates, skate blades, tape, pads, mouth gear...holy crap this is the worst. Not to mention all the energy they consume in the production of eveything. Sports are the root of our destruction. They are the ultimate in glutany..unless you are one of the chosen in this country who are allowed to use and abuse for their own cause. After all its all aout you.
Sonn we will here about baseball the great American past time (also available around the world). Those bats. all the trees killed. all the soil stripped for the-in field, all the toxins for the artificial turf, bases, cleats, stadiums, parking lots, concrete, paint, etc. I think we want it all but dont want to know what it costs us in the wallet or what harm it is causing the environment. dont even get us started on football those fans pee everywhere and that pollution is causing the temp of the oceans to rise and is melting our ice caps and changing the world as we know it..The polar bears!! I NEED ANOTHER GRANT TO FUND MY RESEARCH!! Now you connectc the dots.
