Last minute laws, they are called "midnight rules" that an outgoing president can get passed by midnight of November 21st slide through as laws enacted by his administration. They all do it, including Clinton who set a record for those laws, but it is the nature of the ones that George W. Idiot is trying to get through that is disturbing. You would figure with the lowest approval ratings of any president ever, he would just say screw it and fold up his tent and shuffle on back to his village in Texas, not this one. nope, every chance he gets to skirt the constitution, he will take full advantage of.

Most of them are environmental in nature including the following:

1. New rules to speed oil shale development including auctioning off land RIGHT NEXT TO 3 NATIONAL PARKS! It also involved changing endangered species laws and protection to make this happen allowing more polluting of rivers and streams.

This next one just kills me, how anyone can not be disgusted by this is beyond me and Im leaving it below word for word because it needs to be read:

2. The Chicago Tribune did a special report saying the administration undercut a clean-air rule aimed at curbing childhood lead poisoning:

...the EPA had planned to require lead monitors next to any factory emitting at least a half-ton of lead a year. But after the White House intervened, the agency raised the threshold to a ton of lead or more, according to e-mails and other documents exchanged between the EPA and the Office of Management and Budget. 

Thats our children that they are talking about, you wonder why more and more children are being born with birth defects and conditions like autism, look no further. This president has allowed the passage of some of the worst environmental/pollution laws ever.

I remember a time when a song called "This Land Is Your Land, This Land Is My Land" meant something, now our politicians piss on our air, water and land with no regard for the public because all of a sudden, the public doesn't give a shit. To me thats sad that we can't stand up to this moron of a president and say no Mr. President, its not worth mining for oil shale right next to our pristine beauty of our national parks and quite frankly, we don't think this should happen, and we will fight this motion by your administration to allow this.
