Giving You More Than Just My Two Cents
Patriots 20, Bills 10
How do you lose a seemingly impossible lead to give up to a team that lost its all world starting quarterback and seemed primed to have a down year?
Keep watching the Buffalo Bills, they are putting on a clinic. Three games ago, they were 5-1 and looking like they could run away with the AFC East, now they are looking like they are going to finish dead last.
Their running game has been awful and Turk Schonert is calling plays that look eriely similar to previously fired offensive coordinators. All pass, no run.
The offensive line that had all this money sunk into it is looking just offensive. They can't run block. Really if you can't run block, your offense is nothing. Trent Edwards has got to be wondering about the whole scheme they have right now.
Im finding it interesting that the Bills tendency is to run early and if they find that they are going to struggle they give up on it early instead of sticking with it. Whats wrong with run, run, run and when you think you have run the ball too much run it some more. Thats how you beat good defenses, not by passing the ball.
Marshawn Lynch I think is being under utilized but maybe that is just me. Last year he showed signs of brilliance and this year, he hasn't been anywhere near his rookie season and partly because Fred Jackson is getting more runs in.
Here they were, today was a day that the defense actually played a good game but the offense called some bad plays and simply didn't put the ball on the ground nearly enough. Sooner or later its the coaching that is ultimately responsible for lack of a running game. You can't get into a rhythm if you don't call enough run plays. They have the talent both in the running backs and on the line I think they are being mishandled.

They Suck
1st time you post about Bills and you bash them? Stick to pumping the Sabres and talking about how the Blue Jays blow ass.
Seriously? Was there anything good to say about yesterdays performance? Is there anything good about a three game losing streak and being 0-3 in a weak division?
When there is something good to say about them I'll say it but the game I watched yesterday was pretty bad and if you read my comments I do bash the Sabres too, If you read my post about their weekend you will see that I didn't have much nice to say about them either.
Then again, their record reflects what I have to say about the Sabres, true they lost two in a row, but even so, they have lost a collective three games this year in regulation, every other loss has been in overtime. They have gotten points in all but three. There is much more good about the Sabres than the Bills. So don't sit there and tell me I don't know what I'm talking about, I watched a horribly played game and Trent Edwards, the offensive line and the defensive line all sucked and thats why they lost to the Patriots and thats why they have seen a 5-1 record reduced to a last place 5-4 record with three division losses. There is no sugar coating that.
I have to agree. The wagon was a little too full and as was expected it tipped over. They didn't play any divisional games early and did well. Now when it counts they can't hack it, and they are in a weak division. While they keep it interesting they are not going to make it this year. They have gotten worse as the season wears on. Edwards needs remidial help, our running game...what running game. A lot of cash being spent for little performance. But the do have a winning record for a change and are providing some excitment.
Its not the running backs fault that the O-line can't run block. Dockery is awful and Jason Peters does not deserve that contract he held out for if he can't run block, hell they can hardly pass block.
Edwards will be fine, remember Eli Manning didn't do well until his 4th year so its really Edward's first full year. I think we need to realize at times, regardless of how good he looks, hes still just a sophmore in the league.
This team, needs to go out and either draft or sign some high quality defensive ends. They haven't had a great defensive end since Bruce Smith. Im not saying that they need a Bruce Smith caliber end because thats a once in a lifetime player, but two solid guys who consistently put pressure on the ends would be nice. They keep signing tackles and thats fine, but its the guys on the end that pressure the QB and Kelsay and Denny are awful. They couldn't put pressure on a balloon if they sat on it. Schobel, Im sorry if I offend any of his faithful, but he has yet to have one meaningful sack in his NFL career. Every sack he gets is late in games where they are either up by a ton or losing by a ton. Hes not a playmaker. Hes like the Miroslav Satan of the Bills. Miro scored 30-40 goals a year but 10-15 would be empty net goals. Highly overrated. They either do that or they are going to have to start blitzing with their safetys and corners more and taking some more chances.
OK your right they just plain suck.
I see why you don't post on them much. They are awful. I think we should start a New England Patriots support group. We can call it FUCNEPF Group..Fed Up Canged to New England Patriots Fans...anyone with me on this? If you don't like the Patrionts we can pick any other NFL team. I'm on board.
Maybe playing in Toronto will be good for them. Maybe when they move there maybe, just maybe they will have more revenue and be able to afford A) a better coaching staff, B) better players
