Last night was a bad way to lose. The Sabres were never behind last night and gave up three one goal leads including a 3-2 lead late in the third period only to lose in the 5 minute overtime with less than a minute to go.

You could tell by the end of the game the Sabres were on their last legs from playing last night but when you have a lead like that with five minutes to go, someone has to step it up. You have to find some energy and get the legs going. The overtime goal was the result of some lazy skating by Buffalo as well that resulted in the Montreal powerplay.

Max was back, Mair was still playing on the powerplay. (Sigh.....) Next up Pittsburgh on Monday before the Christmas break.
