All I know is when I had my running issue, I had several appts with a sports doc, an x-ray, an mri and a bone scan and it was all done pretty quickly and didn't cost me a penny.

I can separate a shoulder in hockey, get an x-ray that night and never pay a cent.

Birds of a feather flock together. The idiots love to think it costs them nothing. What do we canadians pay in taxes? how many mri's do we now have? we finaly have more than 2 in the country? Please...stop flocking together. Many things are attached to this "free" health care you seek. People are ranked based on life style and what is deemed as a "pre existing condition". If you are a smoker, a non smoker gets services before you, if you are a fat ass, a skinny person gets cared for before you, if you have lived in a area where carcinogens are more prominent..sucks to be you...after all they are conditions YOU COULD HAVE PREVENTED BASED ON CHOICES YOU MADE...holy crap the govt. has found another way to control us. Next they will try to tell us the earth is warming and a massive rise in the ocean and light bulbs we choose will kill the planet!!! Get a fucking life. Get a fucking job! Kill your TV....before it kills you!

No one is claiming that they want free, we want affordable, we want a healthcare system that works for us not against us, one that doesn't put restrictions due to pre-existing conditions. You need to read the article that Torontomike posted in this comments section. Its debunks the myths about single payer.
I just lost my health insurance because we found out that COBRA is accurately described, it would have cost my wife and I $987 per month for the next two months or $2000 to keep our family coverage....Tell me, what middle class family can afford that? That is $12,000 PER YEAR.
No one is asking for free healthcare, just cheaper. Watch the video, read the article Torono Mike sent and shut up until you are educated on the other side, it just might help you
