Keep Talking Rush
If you happen to be in the same room as Rush Limbaugh when he opens up his mouth lately, hold your nose. Everything that comes out of his trap lately is complete bullshit.
His latest "blame Obama" skit (I call it a skit because there is no truth, the only explanation for his outrageous claims can only be for entertainment/shock value), blames President Obama for the Mark Sanford run off to Argentina and his extra marital affair.
Did you get that guys/gals....want to be unfaithful? Nows the time, according to Rush we can blame it on the president. Im not kidding or making this up. When does it stop for him? Its amazing there are enough half wits out there dumb, no dumb is not the word, ignorant enough to listen to his crap.
I listen so occasionally I can post something about the vile lump of human flesh and help expose him for what he is. For the sake of the democrats though, keep the guy on the air and keep him talking because the majority of Americans I believe are bright enough and smart enough to know that what this guy says is hog wash, which is fitting since he looks like Boss Hog anyway. Unfortunately, hes got just enough Roscoe P. Coltrane's out there to support the wind bag.

I think reality scares you. You listen to him more than anyone I know. Glad you can face .ooooooooo1% of your fears. Keep listening. He may put you on the right.
How was it Bush? What did Bush do that caused this? Low mortgage rates? That was the FedRes and they are still low today. FanM/FredMc? That had been under the Democratic Congress' control with folks like Senator Barney Frank at the wheel. Please tell me what Bush did to cause the crisis.
Likewise, I don't blame Obama for the crisis. I ... Read Moreblame him for making it worse. At a time where the American people (and the world) are hurting financially, he wants reckless spending (3x that of Bush by Obama's count, >5x that of Bush by my count), heavy taxes against business "for the environment", he's using the situation to seize control of not only businesses but whole industries, and he's lying about progress (see "I 'saved' jobs that would have been lost").
If my house is on fire, I don't blame the firefighter who shows up to fight it. I do take issue, however, when he begins to fight it using gasoline and giant fans.
Im not saying it was totally Bush that caused it....However, to say that Bush didn't have any hand in it is just a big fat lie.
I read an article sent to me today that simply says that Clinton may have caused it but the article contradicts itself. First, off this whole economic stuff started with NIxon, he was the one who could have stopped HMOs in the first place, he was the one who was talked into the concept of an HMO. Now, millions of Americans can't afford health insurance and are losing their homes over it.
Second, Reagan had this ideal of small government....he repealed Jimmy Carters fuel standards that were in place so we could have been well on our way to a green economy even back then and he got rid of the solar/wind initiatives that Carter had set forth with. Imagine the place we would be in now energy wise had Carters initiatives been left in place. Reagan even went so far as to take the solar panels off the White House that Carter had put up to set an example for the rest of the country...not to mention save some energy costs.
Reagan thought the energy issues we faced in the 70s would iron themselves out via the free market.
His economic policies caused more than a few economic meltdowns during his eight years as well as he was the one who initially started deregulating Wall Street.
George H Bush wanted the Free Trade agreements which started exporting our jobs overseas,
Clinton to his fault continued expanding the free trade agreements and his biggest crime was listening to Alan Greenspan who was a Republican appointee under the Reagan administration. Greenspan was the one who advised Clinton to deregulate Wall Street and allow these massive bank mergers.
George W. Bush put the final nails in the coffin and he had 8 years to repeal Clintons moves that were Advised by Greenspan (a republican) and passed by a republican controlled house and senate. Bush and the republicans were in control of the house and senate for 6 years.. and Bush had a chance to present legislation during his last two years but he wanted Wallstreet and its rich scum bags to get even richer. I don't think that Clinton made the choices he did to hurt anyone and if he had it to do again he wouldnot have done it and he has said so time and time again in interviews....
That all said, be supportive, Barack Obama's administration is trying to put back in place regulations that were inplace since FDR that protected against such economic disasters since the Great Depression. Those regulations, like it or not started being removed starting with Reagan.
