These are my top 5 "New Year" songs, I couldn't find official videos for all but one was a pleasant surprise:

1. Spirit of The West: Another Happy New Year- a live clip of this was a surprise to me, I have only seen them play this live once. Gotta love the opening- "Shitty Bottle of Champagne...."

2. Pulp:Disco 2000- A Y2K classic that still has legs around the New Year.

3. Prince: 1999- Overplayed but no denying its staying power on New Year's Eves regardless of the fact that its 11 years past its relevant date.

4. Elvis Costello: What a Good Year for the Roses- An Elvis Costello country cover that for some reason hits the spot for me on New Years

5. U2: New Years Day- Again, probably over played but will always have its place this time of the year. This is actually a pretty good mash up of all the live versions U2 has put out of this song
