Need to catch up after spending a week in Myrtle Beach, I have a few stories to tell and some pictures to post later but here is a few comments on some things that took place while I was away:

Sabres/Free Agency: Im not totally disappointed as of yet by how things have gone, Anyone who was going to shell out the contracts that Lydman and Tallinder got can have them, they are not worth the money. Besides, its time to go in a different directon on defense. We found our young stud that WE HAVE TO sign long term soon and if those two haven't taken us to the promise land yet its time to find alternatives.

Darcy did just that by bringing in Jordan Leopold. He is a solid defenseman who has been to the finals with Calgary. He has a little bit of offensive touch and could be the guy that sits besides Tyler Myers in 5 on 5 action.

We need more though and Kaberle's name kept coming up, still has yet to be finalized if it is and Id still like to see a forward or two moved.

The G20: I watched it from down in Myrtle Beach me and let me tell ya, it puzzles me how the violence can get so bad on both sides. The police could be a little more tolerant, but the protesters need to protest not act like animals. The police did what they had to do and the animals were treated like that, good on em.

Repuke News: John Boehner needs to go, Thats all I can say. The war of words between Boehner and the President shows just how unwilling the repuke party is to work with this president. Even some in his own party wants the guy to shut up.
