Stevie Johnson's Conversation With God
After that catch Stevie twittered to God, but he must have had a chat at some point before or after he tweeted or twittered about it, I wonder how that conversation went?........ Stevie needs to shut up and play football. We Got a Leadoff Guy
We got our leadoff guy! Rajai Davis hit .284 last year and stole 50 bases for the Oakland A's, this is a good....no great trade by the Jays. This is the speediest guy we have had at the top of the order since Devo and he can play all three outfield positions.
Here is the Jays lineup as of today, granted more moves are on the way:
1. Rajai Davis- Left field
2. Aaron Hill- Second Base
3. Adam Lind- First Base
4. Jose Bautista- Third Base
5. Vernon Wells- Center Field
6. Travis Snider- Right Field
7. ??? DH
8. Yunel Escobar- Shortstop
9. JP Arencibia-Catcher
Im assuming Lyle Overbay will not be resigned so we need a DH. Manny Ramirez anyone? We will need a little depth as well on our bench and unless the Jays go out and find a third baseman, we are going to have to start Jose Bautista at third. Either way I like the balance Davis brings to the lineup.

This ad is complete BS, you have already done the "Situation" so you can't go doing ads on it and expect kids or anyone else to take you seriously. Think about what you are saying, you are basically saying that you fucked up, which is fine, but then are you admitting that your kid was a mistake? Try explaining that to your son, hey you were a mistake because I should have kept my legs closed, that ought to go over well. And what was up with the Situation conversation....that made my head spin, just say SEX. Im sure thats the conversation most adults/kids have about sex, hey you going to avoid the situation, you haven't been in the situation yet have you? Sarah Palin's Alaska: Unreal
What a load of shit. Seriously, The Learning Channel is dead if they are going to continue to air this horsecrap. I know Im late on this, time has been at a premium here, but I had to get on and just throw my 2 cents in here. There is nothing that Sarah Palin's Alaska is going to teach anyone. First, they call it reality TV, its not, its totally scripted and it feeds line after line of Sarah's bullshit. What's even better though is if you talked to anyone from Alaska, not even the citizens of Alaska respects her or her family. Its a complete joke. I like the other 5 million of the record audience tuned in, I could only stomach 15 minutes before I was going to either have to shoot the TV or myself, but geez, The Learning Channel is going to have to start calling itself TIB: The Idiot Box, thats exactly what Sarah Palin's show turns your TV into. If they keep running this garbage a few things are going to happen: 1. Their audience will go down. I bet over half the 5 million that tuned in for the ratings were those just wanting to see it and see it for what it is, a waste of time and television money. I'll bet this show lasts no more than 6 months. I'll bet the second show in this series the ratings are cut in half, They won't get more than 2.5 million to watch. 2. She is going to be scrutinized even more now. Remember back in during the election in 2008...my kids and family are off limits? Talk about a reversal, they are right there in the spotlight for all to see. She is using her family to get the dumb ass voters in this country to cozy up to her if she decides to run. I just hope voters in this country aren't that easily fooled. Bottom line is that this show is crap, The Learning Channel shouldn't be putting this crap on, unless their true, indirect goal is to expose Palin for the bimbo she really is. If thats the case keep showing it, but I won't waste another 15 minutes watching it because I already learned that back in 2008. The Pancake Man
Yesterday "The Pancake Man" was at the Walden Galleria, he flipped a pancake out of a frying pan over 31 feet into the air and caught it back in the pan.
Apparently this was a Guiness Book of World Record's feat. Who comes up with this stuff we can only wonder. I wonder what the world record is for tossing a pencil into the air? Im going to do that this afternoon, everyone, come and watch!!!!!!!! Yeah I did it! Now what?
Anyway, the video of this is actually...pretty impressive though I don't know why anyone would want to do this nor the practical need to do this in your every day culinary experiences, who has 32 foot ceilings to play with anyway?:

The Hole is Still Too Big
For those who think October and November don't mean anything in the NHL check again. The Buffalo Sabres have dug themselves an early hole and barring a run of epic proportions here the hole is too big to recover.
Sure they are only 4 points out of a playoff spot but realistically, to be where they want to be.....comfortably in the playoff race, they have to leapfrog 5 teams in the standings, Atlanta, Carolina, New York, Boston and Tampa Bay all need to be leap frogged to get to 6th place, which would provide a little cushion from not being in the playoffs. There are 3 points to make up but those teams will keep winning, and lets face it, its not like we have been on any huge roll lately either.
Our home record is 1-6-1, that is one indication that this team is going nowhere until that record says 7-6-1, thats the type of roll we need. I know they have played better but obviously, its not enough.
Last nights game was really the first quality game they have played at home all season and they still coughed up a 2-1 lead. Sooner or later they have to start winning in regulation. That will ultimately be the downfall of this team, coughing up too many pity points and leads to teams they have to pass. The pity point can work for you when you are up in the standings, but when you are down, it makes it next to impossible to make up any ground on any teams in front of you.
Also, take a look at the Northeast division, currently, three teams are in the playoffs, the Sabres would be the fourth from that division to get in, realistically thats not going to happen, they have to catch Boston or Ottawa to get in and thats going to be a tough task at this point.
Stars: Thomas Vanek is showing signs of life, the goal in overtime was one of his top five goals ever, it was Ovechkinesque. Welcome back Ryan Miller.
Useless: Shaone Morrisonn, he has 1 Assist and is a -8 on the season, last night he was a -1 and to me, he does not throw his 6'4, 217 pound frame around nearly enough, was anyone else expected a little more aggressiveness out of him?

I'm a Schmuck
Sorry, I know, for what ever readers I have left I have been just busy. no excuse other than that. Im gonna try to catch up over the next few days and I'll start with a little catch all here:
1. The American people have spoken....and the American People have proven just how short term memory this country is. Does anyone not remember the Bush years? Does anyone not remember what republicans do with a democrat president in office when they control the house? More debt, more economic polices that will kill the middle class and they are going to waste tax payer dollars trying to investigate the hell out of this president so the can impeach him, not because he has done anything wrong, but because they want power, they don't give a crap about the people.
2. The Bipartisan debt commission came out today with their plan and it favors the rich and destroys the middle class, surprise, surprise. If Obama does'nt come out and denounce this before 9 AM tomorrow there is a problem. It will show once and for all who really runs this country and its not by the people, for the people, its by the corporations, for the wealthy.
.3. We may be starting to turn a corner, we just beat the Devils 5-4 in a second consecutive shootout. Tyler Myers had 3 points and was a plus 3, thats the Myers we all know and have man crushes on, and uh Tim Connolly still sucks
4. Did I mention the repukes have control of the house? There are two morons who will be incharge of science based committees and both think that the Bible will save us therefore nothing needs to be done about global warming or our energy policy and we can pollute all we want.....at what point do we say oh I don't know Put an honest to goodness scientist in charge?
